Build out the Town’s broadband company (ENVI)
ENVI was sold to telMAX in 2022. The sale price was not disclosed.
ENVI launched in 2018 as a roughly $5 million startup and built about 30 km of fibre with about 200 connections by mid-2022.
It was sold to telMAX in October 2022 to avoid further shareholder investment.
The mayor said the sale fully recouped the Town’s investment. The price was not disclosed.
