2025 Sunshine List

Not on the list

Town salary $55,894.21

The 2025 disclosure, published March 27, 2026, has no council row for this person. The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act covers pay of $100,000 or more. The Town treasurer’s statement for the same year says its employment-income column is the amount that would be reported for that disclosure if it applied. That salary is $55,894.21. It does not include taxable benefits or expenses, which the same statement lists separately and which differ by councillor. A Trevor Morrison is on the same list as a sergeant with York Regional Police, salary $151,459.15 and taxable benefits $553.74. The Town biography of this councillor describes a chiropractor, and the Town statement lists only the council salary. This page treats them as different people.

    Sports courts at Proctor Park

The town built a basketball court and two pickleball courts after a survey of more than 460 people. Staff told an October 2024 town hall the pad should be ready by summer 2025. The town’s park page now lists both courts. He was the ward councillor who spoke for the project. Residents raised noise, stray balls, and parking. Staff said they would watch parking rather than expand it up front, and that two trees would be cut and replaced.

A community garden at Rogers Park

He calls it upcoming, and his campaign page still lists it as work he will do. No opening date is published.

What changed

Better means a sourced improvement in the ward. Worse means a source shows the ward lost something. Mixed means both. Still open means the claim is not checked yet.

  • Better

Proctor Park has courts residents asked for

Pickleball was the leading choice in the town survey, ahead of tennis and basketball. The pad is beside the playground. Parking and noise were flagged and left to be watched.

  • Still open

Rogers garden, shade, and the Heights table

He also cites a community action table in Newmarket Heights, shade canopies, ward barbecues, and a dumpster day. Those are on his priority list or in the interview. Completion is not independently dated here.

This file has no worse mark. A blank here means a loss has not been documented, and the open items above are still unchecked.
